The client was buying a property with an old underground oil tank that was still in use.

We came out to the property and took soil samples from around the tank. The lab results showed that the soil had been contaminated—meaning the tank had started to leak into the ground.

We then worked with the seller and coordinated permits, removed the tank, dug up and re-tested soil, and sent a report to NJDEP. Case closed.
